Mebetoys Model #A-49, Lancia Stratos HF Bertone

There were many Lancia Stratos HF cars. This one is the prototype that had its body designed by Bertone. Officially it is the Lancia Stratos 0 that was first shown at the Turin Motor Show in 1970. The production Stratos was much different but shared a similar, albeit less pronounced, wedge shape. This Mebetoys series model appeared in 1972. It first appeard in the 1972 Mebetoys catalog. Some of the Mebetoys version of this model (#A-49) were packaged in the third generation European package that had the Gran Toros name on the sticker but they were not Hot Wheels Gran Toros models (Sputafuoco). Note that 1972 was when the Hot Wheels Gran Toros (Sputafuoco) were discontinued.
