1969 Mattel Hot Wheels "Redlines"

1969 saw the introduction of 24 new Mattel Hot Wheels Redlines, known as Ruote Brucia Pista in Italy, including the Gran Prix cars. The popularity of the Hot Wheels line led Mattel to expand the line to include 1/43 scale models that would become the Gran Toros, Hot Wheels Super Racers.
